It’s here. It’s finally here, the weekend we plan and hope and wait for all month long – and I think, honestly, for several months prior to that! I just love the holidays, and I hope you’re having a wonderful time out there enjoying yours. Here’s some last minute links to keep you extra-busy today!
Stop in next week, I’ll be rounding up some great kid-friendly art and craft DIY’s and projects to keep everyone busy during the long days post Christmas, when school and family vacation time has us all a little stir-crazy!
Until then, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, A Joyful Winter, and lots of warmth in between!
- (image above) Adorable Forest Creature Gift Tag Printables from Studio Morran. Aren’t they sweet?!
- Holiday Gift Tags Printables from Creature Comforts. I wish I’d made these, they’re just about perfection.
- These modern bright gift tags printables are also gorgeous – from Crow and Canary, via Lil’ Magoolie.
- PortableNorthPole.com – If you haven’t heard of this yet, get thee to this website – and the iPhone/Android app too! Can’t wait to see Birdie’s reaction to hearing Santa greet her and speak to her via video feed “live” from the North Pole. The free vids are pretty well done.
- I just LOVE this hilarious and very very serious wine glass duo performance of the Nutcracker Suite. Musicians are wonderful people. And the musical quality of this performance is gorgeous. via Lil’ Magoolie.
- Design Sponge posted this wonderful – and very thorough – idea guide for NOT giving gifts this year. Instead, give thoughtful Experiences instead. Great idea for those that are extra hard to find objects for! (and I can tell you with certainty every mother out there would kill for a True Real Deal No Strings Attached DAY OFF).
- Fun list of best Kids Music from Cool Mom Picks. I need to update our collection, and I’ll be starting here.
- A big fat list of How Not To Spoil Your Kids this holiday season. Erm, right. I’ll pretend that’s possible.
- And also, some practical reminders and pointers for Dealing with Whining: The Do’s and Don’ts.
- Finally, to get us ready for next week’s crafty ideas, here’s 25 indoor activities for toddlers to get you started!
Have a wonderful Holiday weekend everyone!!!
