You know that cliche that talks about the small things mattering the most? I know it’s true, and yet, I ignore it all the time. But I’m realizing the best part of my week was yesterday afternoon. I spent that time brushing a toy horse’s hair, reorganizing Birdie’s doll crib, and helping her find the right diaper for her baby doll. Nothing big, not even anything particularly productive. But it was time with Birdie where we were totally on the same page: working together towards her small little goals. Never underestimate being sympatico with your child. In the end it’s ironic. I tell myself (and others) that I’m more than a stay at home mom, and yet the thing I valued most about my week was exactly that. Thank god blogging lets me work from home and mom from home too, or I’d be in serious trouble!

Yeah! So many cool Halloween ideas. I’m so excited for it. Halloween is got to be the best holiday of the year! That’s just my humble opinion!
LOL, it definitely lends itself to creative ideas! I just don’t like the cold weather that follows it.
Ah, the cold weather. Well, there is that!
I want that book, “Need a House, Call Ms. Mouse”!!
Too bad it’s not available in the local library system…it looks amazing.
Yes! I did a search online and it must be rare – the lowest price I saw was over $300!
