I really should have been reading those weekly emails from H&M. I just fall so behind that I start deleting every email I can in an effort to catch up. But then I nearly miss beautiful things like H&M’s All For Children 2013 Collection.
The costumes feel both timeless yet very 18th century: like a Marie Antoinette princess dress and a pirate jacket with full tails. I’m head over heels for the mermaid dress, but I’m not sure I want to spend $50 on it. And that’s the only hiccup with this collection: some of the items are priced higher than you’d expect for H&M. Fortunately 25% of the proeeds go directly to Unicef. Still you can grab a pirate’s hat or some really beautiful tights for a more affordable price. Some of the pieces are sold out online, but the collection will finally be available in select stores on October 10th (I’m hoping they have separate store stock for those sold out items!). So what do you think, would you spend $50 on the most unusual mermaid dress you’ve ever seen?

No, I actually wouldn’t spend 50 bucks (or Euro) on a Halloween costume, ;-). But good thing you wrote this post and mentioned the mermaid Dress — my little one has been begging me to sow one for me, so I can finally check out how to go about it, ;-).
So long,
Corinna
Sounds like a good plan to me – 50 bucks is just too much for something you can’t wear every single day all winter long!
oh WOW the mermaid dress! These are all fabulous!!
I know right? I wish they were free so we could add them all to a big beautiful dress up chest!
Holy flipping cuteness alert!!!
Exactly!
