I swear I only realized yesterday evening that June is merely 3 days away. And even then, I was surpirsed it was a “week” away, then looked at the calendar and realized that wasn’t even true! I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but around here, May seems to be the month where the entire community comes alive again. Not only are there end of year school programs, dance recitals, and piano performances in our family, but all kinds of other fun events around the city start up too. It’s such a whilrwind! So somehow next week is – by school calendar standards- the official start of summer, but my mind is still stuck in early Spring. What do you do to get your head in the right season? How do you convert to a summer frame of mind?

Oh I’m right there with you, the days just fly by! We are looking forward to a slow relaxing summer. I’m in LOVE with that scarf!! And the Dad sign made me giggle…my poor hubs HATES it when the kids go on broken record like!
There better be a card for moms that says the same thing – because I swear I get it even more than my hubs over here!
