The one thing on my summer to-do list that we haven’t done yet: go to the beach. You’d think that wouldn’t be so hard to get to in a state with the tagline “Land of 10,000 Lakes”. But, well, between summer camp schedules, rainy days, sick days, family travel, you know the drill – things keep getting pushed out. I’m hoping to get to the beach before the end of July! Wish me luck.
When we do go, I want to bring one of these Packable Pails with me. Going to the beach always means lugging a ton of stuff with you – but at least this pail won’t take up as much space as the old cheap plastic ones. You can get a Blue Pail, Pink Pail, Yellow Pail, or my personal favorite: the Orange Pail. Each collapses down to a slim storable size. They’re BPA-free, food-safe, and unaffected by the sun’s rays (I hate faded plastic toys!). But don’t worry, they’re still sturdy enough to handle bucket-loads of water, rock and shell collecting, and of course, building sandcastles!
