We’re in the thick of it now, aren’t we? Summer camps, summer road trips, the boredom of our children, the hot sun, and all those other summer things that keep us occupied. And yet our regular lives are still there demanding our attention too: workloads, house cleaning, to-do lists, and responsibilities. Why is it every summer I want to be 10 years old again, without a care in the world? Now that I have Birdie, it’s even harder to hang on to my adulthood in the summer months. I just want to drop everything and run through the sprinkler.
