I can’t believe I’m doing this, but apparently I need to share a nother post about wooden toys at Target. It seems to me wooden toys are finally hitting the mainstream – at least in Target’s eyes.
Well, Target and Fisher-Price both believe in the importance of wood toys, apparently! Check out this new collaborationL Fisher-Price wooden baby toys for babies toddlers. I love the combination of colors and materials – the translucent plastic looks really fresh next to the solid bits of beech wood. Plus, the play value looks great too! Now, these aren’t organic, or in any way touted as eco-friendly. I suppose Target couldn’t do it all at the prices they wanted to be at. Still, I love the designs and the options – check out the Early Bird Barista Set – how sweet!

Target and K-Mart are adding some wooden toys to their range these days, although they still focus mainly on plastic.
