Every summer I lose my marbles. All of our usual routines get thrown out the window, and though it sounds wonderful to shake things up, the transition is not pretty. I can’t tell you the number of little – and big – things I’ve forgotten this week while I tried to be more present with Birdie. It’s such a catch 22, we crave more time with our kids, and yet when we get it we don’t know how to manage it? I think it’s time to add some scheduled me-time back into our days. Wish me luck!
