Last minute stocking stuffer dash

by mari

Those little extras, whether destined for the bottom of a stocking or a sweet ending to the larger surprises, are always the things I forget about it until the end. In honor of procrastinators everywhere, I’ve gathered some great smaller gifts – all under 20 bucks – to help me, and you. Everything featured is still available online and ready to ship (with a little higher priority) in time for Dec. 24th…. Have a great Weekend before Christmas and remember to breathe!

And let me note, there were several items on my list that are no longer available. Perhaps this is why we shouldn’t procrastinate?

(Items below arranged approximately from youngest to oldest)

Moby, from Haba $14.99

I’ve loved Moby for years, he sat on my desk at my toy job and smiled benevolently. My daughter now loves him for his amazing rattling ability and his perfectly suckable face/tail.

Linki-lota, from Zolo $15.99

Babies love links, moms love links, and we all love Zolo’s zany approach.

Block Books, from Land of Nod $5.95

A great combo of block, book, alphabets, numbers, and cute illustrations.

Glitter ball, $4.50

I love these things. I already blogged about them once, and since we only have one, I may have to get more. Maybe a whole stocking-ful.

Wish Come True, from FriendsWithYou $8.95

A surprise for you and the giftee, these blind-box assorted collectible vinyl toys are suh-weet for anyone over 3. Including me.

First Words Magnets, from Magnetic Poetry $17.00

If you need a little education in your stocking, this the option for you.

Magnifying Glass, from Haba $12.90

You could probably go to the dollar store and get a super cheapo version, but this is so much cuter I thought I’d suggest it instead!

< p class="MsoNormal">String Dolls, from Kamibashi $10.00

These little charactesr are adorable and handmade. There are dozens of stylish, hilarious choices at their website.

Finger Printing Art Set, $11.50

Crafty and cool enough for parents to join in too – then you can compare finger prints and see if the kiddo is really a chip off the ol’ block. (not recommended for former guests of the Maury Povich show)

Optical Illusion Playing cards, $8.95

These might be so distracting you’ll forget how to beat your kids at that game of War you’re playing…
