Do you see those lights going into infinity? Yep, I walked under all of them. My feet, legs, and back are very glad I’m not walking the show anymore. The ABC KIds Expo is over, and I’m about to board my plane home. I had debated whether or not to come – as an independent designer and blogger, the choice needed to be worth the effort in the long run. (my husband, on toddler duty at home, would wholeheartedly agree with that) But it’s been an amazing trip. I’ve finally met in person some great twitter friends as well as industry buddies. Plus, the connections, networking, and general trend-spotting has been such a pleasure. I’m actually leaving feeling very invigorated about kids design, and my place in it. But for now, I think it’s time to nap.
