This is the last day of the official Holiday Gift Guides – but don’t worry, every post from now until Christmas will keep the spirit of Holiday Giving firmly in our minds! Small for Big’s Annual Holiday Gift Guides – Stocking Stuffers under $25
Above you’ll see a couple examples of the goodness waiting for you on the list. Gamewright was kind enough to send me samples of Dweebies and Rory’s Story Cubes. Each one is a perfect little package with great design and illustrations. But the game play is fascinating too. Dweebies is like a simplistic Scrabble with pictures, or a lo-fi version of Bejeweled. And the monsters in Dweebies crack. me. up. They add a ton of personality to the game. Rory’s Story Cubes is a game full of open-ended story telling. By rolling the dice and choosing one of the various game play options described, you create stories based on the images shown on each of the die. And when you’re finally exhausted, both games pack away into their beautiful boxes for storage. (Plus, they’re both only $10!)
