I keep daydreaming of a house with a little more space, a lot more organization, and a ton less stuff. In that beautiful impossible house there is ample space for a play table and chairs for Birdie, surrounded by several shelves of creative arty things. Jessica Johnson’s gorgeous modern children’s furniture would be a top contender. And the price for a table and 4 chairs is a super reasonable $270 (and shipping for $35!). Score!
But the impossible decision: which colors?! I think I’d seriously want one of each, just like a painter’s palette and my Pantone decks.

FINALLY some cute contemporary play sets for kids. No more ‘princess pink’ for me! Thanks for the great inspiration. Chic Rooms
Thanks – I’m always happy to add a little inspiration to someone’s day!
Very cool! We went with the simple white IKEA table and chairs, these are incredibly reasonable though (and way more interesting to look at)!
Ikea rules when it comes to kids’ furnishings! Almost always a good choice.
I really like this set, too – though it’s a tad bit too country to fit into my decor. I’ve been looking for awhile for a new set that doesn’t come in rainbow or pastel colors. The one I bought from my ex-employer is literally on its last leg. Let me know if you find any other ones!
Country? Really? This feels country to you, that’s interesting. I was seeing it as a slightly naive looking 60’s modernism. Hmm.
Awesome site you have here but I was curious about if you knew of any discussion boards that cover
the same topics talked about in this article?
I’d really love to be a part of online community where I can get advice from other experienced individuals that share the same interest. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. Kudos!
I don’t know of any, good luck!
