Hase Weiss German Modular Portable Take Along Wooden Dollhouse

How’s your first week of school been? Ours was much smoother than I expected! The only hiccup? I somehow assumed that those 3 child-free hours every morning would mean I’d be all caught up with everything. HA. Nice one, Mari. Sometimes I’m nearly delusional in my optimism!

This week’s best links online:

  • (image above) This German modular dollhouse by Hase Weiss is now on my list of favorites, and all the pieces pack up into a special carrying case too. Found via Handmade Charlotte.
  • I need your votes to keep Small for Big in the running for Parents Mag’s Best Blogs Awards! If you haven’t voted, just hop skip and jump (or simply click) over to vote for Small for Big here! And thanks.
  • My lovely sponsor, Kawaii Kids, has updated their online site and it looks great! Plus, they’ve reduced their international shipping to $15, not bad at all.
  • We currently have three lovely furry caterpillars wandering around a jar on our dining room table. I’ve been using bug sites like this one to help us figure out who’s who.
  • I don’t know why, but I just want to squish one of these silicone meringue rings. Wearing one of these babies is bound to cheer you up (and make you hungry?)
  • OH my, the Halloween features have started already! But, there’s some great handmade DIY kids costumes in this list from Family Style over on Babble.com. I need lots of inspiration this year.
  • I keep saving cardboard tubes for future crafting, and then can’t think what to do with them. This easy Tube Faces kids craft project is a great place to start – and I think Birdie would love it as long as there was a house to go with them! via The Crafty Crow.
  • Did you see my guest post over at Lil’ Magoolie? Lots of my favorite modern toys to share!
