I’m not usually into hearts and pink and frills. In fact, my parents poke fun at me every time they notice a wayward heart or pink sock attach itself to Birdie. I think I’ve learned to give in to the smaller “accents” and worry more about the full-on head-to-toe pink ensembles! Ah, parenting, it’s really all about compromise, isn’t it?
But when Valentine’s Day comes knocking? Suddenly we can allow hearts to appear in those extra-corny places and enjoy them for what they are. Lovely little symbols of love. I’m ok with that, I really am. How about you? Do you embrace the holiday or consider Valentine’s Day to be Hallmark’s evil mind-control device? Somewhere in-between perhaps?
By the way, I need your help. I’m thinking up some fun printables for Valentine’s Day as my little love token for all of my favorite readers (that’d be you!).
Any requests? Suggestions? Ideas? I’d love to get your input! Cards, paper dolls, paper toys, favor boxes, art prints, etc.? What’s your pleasure? What am I forgetting? Share in the comments, or chat with me on facebook or twitter!
