the perfect neighborhood: cubiciti

Cubiciti Eco-friendly Building Roads Cars, and City Blocks on Etsy

We’re dreaming big about our next house right now – it seems like my husband and I take turns heavily browsing through local real estate for that perfect spot. We’re not ready to move yet, but I’m already realizing how impossible it will be to get everything we want in one location. And isn’t that always the rub? Location, location, location. I’m beginning to think it might be better if I just dive into a good city blocks toy like Cubiciti, where imagination has more control than reality!

Cubiciti starts with a base similar to a Lego brick, and lots of beautiful and bright wooden pieces that plug into the base to create your layout. Begin with your roads, add in your trees and houses, then drive the little cars all around that perfect neighborhood. Or take it all down and try again. Start with one Cubiciti set ($58) from their website, to get going. Then add in trees and roads from mini kits ($10.50 – $17.50) in Cubiciti’s Etsy shop. The bright eco-friendly colors and sustainable materials are just a bonus to an open-ended toy like this one.

A big thanks to Tiny Folk who featured it first!
