My love affair with cardboard may never end, even though on Pinterest it has waned a bit. But the costume ingenuity that comes around this time of year just has to be celebrated.
Some people may see cardbaord as merely the base for their final, colorful, glitzy diy costume project. But these projects are here to tell you a couple of very important things. No. 1: Cardbaord does not need paint, it is beautiful in it’s natural state. No. 2: cardboard does not need to be covered by other, more pliable materials, just bend it, shave it, sand it, curl it, tape it, glue it, you name it. Now someone invite me to a big amazing Halloween party so I have an excuse to let out my inner cardboard wrangler.
Thanks to The Modern Met, Trendhunter, and Laughing Squid for the images.
