(we will now descend into the depths of mommy-blogging)
What can I say to my Little Wren Bird, the girl who loves to ask for tacos at 7:30 am, the girl who believes that Mo the (stuffed) Kitty is as real as she is, the girl who likes to play Choo Choo with a roasting pan, the girl who is all miss independence until she’s not, the girl who prefers colored pencils to crayons, the girl whose first words were “whatsat?”, the girl who lies down to sleep with a firm wave and a “bye-bye”, the girl who jumps so hard to the Blueberry Pie song that she lands on her rear instead of her feet, the girl who responds to most requests with “OK”, and the girl who has taken over my life and made us a million times happier?
Happy Birthday.

What a pretty picture of Wren, I can see the grown up girl she will be in this picture. : ) Happy Birthday big girl!
That’s exactly what I was thinking! It’s rare to get a glimpse of her like this.
LOVE! beautiful girl (beautiful writing:) (A. is saying watsat this morning:)
Thank you dear, and GO A. GO!
Happy birthday! This is such a fun age. I love 2 and 3.
And I’m impressed with the beautiful head of year she’s grown in 2 years. If I had a girl, she’d probably still be practically bald!
Thanks Esther – I thank heavens for that hair every day (except when there’s strawberry jam in it!)
What a sweet post from a loving mom–loved reading it–and your daughter is adorable.
Thanks so much Deb!
She is simply adorable Mari! Love her style and glasses! Happy Birthday to her.:)
Thanks! Hehe, she’s wearing her Nick & Nora’s PJ’s from Target = cheap chic.
